Hello!

I am a graduate from Oregon State Universtity where I earned my Bachelor of Science in Interior Design. I completed my degree in four years learning about many aspect of design and space planning with work in AutoCad, Sketchup, and Revit. I had the oportunity to intern at Your Kitchen & Bath Design & Remodel the summer before my Senior year where I learned a great deal of hands on experience. During my time at Oregon State I was a member and Vice President of Alpha Phi Fraternity as well as a Barista at a local coffee destination. This taught me how to manage time and stress as well as many skills pertaining to interacting with a variety of people.

 

Since graduation I have started my career in kitchen and bath design in Oregon. My daily activities include working with clients, designing with 20/20, compiling estimates, preparing proposals, and overseeing jobs currently underway. As a recent resident of Virginia I am looking to pursue new avenues of design to expand my knowledge and grow as a designer.

 

I first chose my career in design when I was a junior in High School. We were asigned a project that invoved picking our "dream career", a school to go to that offered a program in that field, as well as the course work and extra ciriculars needed to make that career possible. After I recieved a grade for the class I tossed the paper in a stack of old school work. Seven years later I can look back at that project and know that I have succeeded in a path that my seventeen year old self could only dream about.
